Take a vaccination

Is this sentence correct:

"Have you taken your vaccination against corona virus?"

Top answer

Christine Christie Is this sentence correct: Not in my US dialect. When you take medicine, you swallow it. I don't think they have an oral vaccine yet, and even if they did, it would be strange to ask whether you had taken it because it implies that you possess it but haven't swallowed it yet.
