Tailor v dressmaker

Hi,

tailor = someone whose job is to make men's clothes (from a longman dictionary)

What is the English for someone whose job is to make (men's AND) women's clothes? Dressmaker? Seamstress?

If you could please explain the difference between these three "occupation types" (tailor - seamstress - dressmaker)?
