Please, consider my sentence

E.g. The police have arrested the robbers, have they OR have it?

which option is correct? I guess, ...have they? (am I right?)

they is right, but you forgot to reverse positive and negative. The police have arrested the robbers, have n't they? Similarly, also showing the reversal of polarity: The police have not arrested the robbers, have they?

they is right, but you forgot to reverse positive and negative.

The police have arrested the robbers, haven't they?

Similarly, also showing the reversal of polarity:
