All correct grammar.
I never say 'tablet'. I say 'pill' for both tablets and pills.
I suppose I might say 'lozenge', although I rarely or never talk to people about them.

Yes, I agree with that. I got carried away with the tablets, thinking they'd be the same shape as other tablets: chocolate, writing materials, notepad computers, etc
But in fact medicinal tablets, as you say, can have various shapes
