The table shows the fluctuations among five different modes of means of transportation registered in Australia over the course of four years starting from 2010.

Overall, it is clear that all five types of vehicles registered shared an upward trend during the given period. In addition, the numbers of passenger vehicles were registered the most out of five, while motorcycles saw the highest percentage growth in three years.

It can be indicated from the table that in the beginning of the period, there were 11,800,000 passenger vehicles registered, which was approximately fivefold as much as that of 2,300,000 in the figure for commercial vehicles. However, over the next 4 years, the proportion of the latter accounted for 17.4%, and this number was higher by a margin of almost 7% compared to that of the former (10,2%).

In the meanwhile, the number of registration in motorcycles stood at 540.000 in 2010, experiencing the most significant rise in the percentage at 30.8% finally. Followed by this are heavy and light trucks, the figures of which were at 384.000 and 106.000 respectively. Then there was an increase in the share of these two, with 8.3% and 23.5% afterwards.
