hm...personally I would say something like this:

"It is going to be an emotional moment when saying goodbye to xyz..."

it It's going to be an emotional moment for to say saying goodbye to xyz
Or: ... when we/I/you/... say goodbye to ...

That mean.. if i use we/I/you/us/them. .. it is going to be

or
"Going to be emotional moment for us to say good bye?"

means
