Hi Yoong Liat and Barb!

What about 'Jason called his parents at work to tell them his exam results as he was very pleased with them'?

Would that change the meaning of the sentence? I mean, after seeing it written, seems that if Jason didn't liked his exam results, he wouldn't have called his parents, or, it can be understood in both ways? (That even if he didn't liked his result
