Hello everyone,

Are the sentences below correct?

1. I want to set my watch back two minutes.

2. I want to set my watch forward two minutes.

I know that up to "two minutes", the sentence correct, but I'm not sure if it is okay to use "two minutes" on its own without any preposition.

The given sentences, 1 and 2, are correct. You don't need a preposition - like "by" - before the word "two."
