Syntax

Hi all,

I was told that English has 5 basic structures. Recently, I have read two sentences but I am not sure they are correct.

1. Rewards are used to stimulate individuals to achieve goals.

S=Rewards, V= are used

How about "to stimulate individuals to achieve goals"? They are compliment or object?

Then what is the structure of the latter part of this sentence?

2. It is actually employer cause organanization corrupted.

S= It, V=is, O= employer

Is "cause organanization corrupted" a complient? If it is, it should be "causing" right?

I am always confused about the English structure. Hope you can help to analyze it.

Thanks
