Hi
I really need help to answer this Section,

"In this section, there are three sets of sentences. You're given two alternative words in each case. In some sentences, both words may be possible, in other only one may be possible:

Idle/lazy

1)Her husband was an idle / a lazy good -for-nothing who never lifted a finger around the house

2)This government will not respond to idle/lazy speculation.

3)The factory remained idle/lazy for several months until a new owner was found.

I am not sure which sentnce may be is correct with both lazy and idle
