Synonymous sentences

I’ve no idea why she is not here yet, but perhaps she has overslept.
She might have overslept and that’s why she is not here yet.


I’m sure he isn’t that old. He looks much younger than my father.
He ........................... that old. He looks much younger than my father. (In this sentence I am allowed to use only two words)



If I were you, I wouldn’t risk losing such a cushy job.
You had better not risk losing such a cushy job.


It’s impossible that he meant to hurt you. I’m sure it all happened by accident.
He has not meant to hurt you. I’m sure it all happened by accident.
