Synonym of "inestimable" is "impossible"?

I do not make sure which word is synonym of "inestimable".

I am Japanese. It seems to me Japanese nuance of "inestimable" is different English one.

My English instructor said that "inestimable" refers to "impossible". Is that be correct?
