synchronize deadlines

Can one say to synchronize deadlines?
The meaning is the following: according to the Plan, a project was supposed to be completed in 2013; however, it was not finished, and now in order to synchronize the deadlines set out in the Plan, the work on the project is prolonged for 1 more year

To me, "synchronise deadlines" means that two or more deadlines are made to coincide. I'm not totally clear whether you are using it with that meaning or some other meaning.

To me, "synchronise deadlines" means that two or more deadlines are made to coincide. I'm not totally clear whether you are using it with that meaning or some other meaning.
