Hi,

People sometimes write s.b. when they are writing in a hurry,

eg 'went to store, s.b. back in 5 minutes'.

But I wouldn't call that a business expression.

Best wishes, Clive

We don't have a symbol such as an ampersand Emotion: dog for that. The only symbol for that is the words themselves.

Clive 'went to store, s.b. back in 5 minutes'.

Without the explaination I don't think that I would have understood 's.b.' I'm not really up on internet and texting jargon. (Is it even jargon?) Anyway, I know 'BTW' and the most commonly used abbreviations such as that but I think s.b. would have thrown me.
