Switch to using

Hello, I work as a coach for a big world wide help dek center in Berlin. Our main communication tool is English Languiage and I found what I think that can be a mistake from our translators.

I one of our manuals, we have the following sentence: "Please switch to using MobileXpress (which is a software)...". My question is, shouldn't the sentence be "Please switch to MobileXpress..."?

Thank You in advance, your answer shall be very valuable for me and my daily tasks!

Both are grammatically correct. I don't know which one is more common. Your suggestion is shorter, of course.
