Google doesn't monitor the site in real-time. They do a partial scan of the site every day, so some changes will show up within a few hours, but some changes may take a few days to show up in their search results.

That's probably something that needs to be addressed to Google rather than here. Their network size is phenomenal, so I'm sure some things just don't come up when called for.

Google does not respond to changes instantaneously. The ways of Google are complex, like chess.
