Swindled out of his inheritance

Charlie was easily swindled out of his inheritance, being a little green behind the ears.

Could you please explain to me what "swindled out of his inheritance" means here?

Though I know "swindle" means "to get money by cheating someone" and "inheritance" means "the amount or property someone receives after their parents die".
