No. I mean a kind of swimming which you swim a specific distance under the water not on the surface.

I think he is looking for a type of swimming. I don't know the word for it.

There are different styles of swimming like

Butterfly, b reast stroke, back stroke, crawl and the other one is when a swimmer moves his body under water something like 10cm beneath the surface.
