Swim times or Swimming times?

Hi,

This may be picky, but I am logging my swim times in a log book. What would the the grammatically correct heading for this log? Swim Times OR Swimming Times? How do you know which one to use? One is a noun and the other is a verb.

Either is OK, but 'Swimming Times' feels to me more correct grammatically.

Thanks for the response. I'm still learning the strokes, lots to think about to become in order to become a proficient swimmer. Yesterday did 36 lengths (900 metres) in 35 minutes. How about yourself Clive?

Very nice. Do you use any pre-swim lotion to negate any negative effects of chlorine? I'm considering trying petroleum jelly to see if that helps.

Sounds too messy to me, but try it.

I do get itchy. I just try to shower thoroughly with soap. Some people use various skin lotions after they swim. The problem for me is to reach the area in the upper middle of my back.

I'll have to give it a shot, because I don't enjoy the skin irritation. There are pre-swim lotion products our there, but have not tried any of them, and they seem somewhat expensive.

Lol, I work for YRDSB, small world. I started taking salsa classes again. Tango is alot of effort, I've danced tango for a year, attending class three times a week. Had many intereseting experiences, but I'd say only one tango moment. It was quite a feeling.
