Could someone check these? I want to define grammatically what swim is in these examples.

I will go swimming. Verb
It is fun to swim. Verb
Swimming is fun. Gerund
I like swimming. Verb
I want to go for a swim. Noun
I like to swim. Noun

The others are OK, but:
I like to swim. Verb

Edit:

I like swimming. This is more likely a participial clause as object, isn't it? (the subject of the non-finite verb is the same as the subject of the main verb.)

Never mind, CJ. Somewhere there's a thread that already explained this to me...I've just forgotten what it said and where it is!
