Swim

Hello!

I'd like to know if I can use use the verb "to stay" preceding the verb "to swim", as it follows:

"I LIKE TO STAY SWIMMING ALL DAY LONG"

Thanks!

You will likely hear it in casual conversation, but I would suggest changing it to 'continue swimming' in any more formal context.
