"Sweet Fragant"

Hello there!

What's the meaning of the underlined part, please? It's a excerpt of the lyrics "Till There was You" (by the Beatles):

"They tell me in sweet fragant meadows of dawn and you." (the meaning of meadow and dawn I know, but they written in this sentence I didn't understand).

And does the title of the song mean "until/till you appeared, showed up" ? (Till there was you = till you appeared, showed up). ?

Thanks,

Michelle

This song was recorded by the Beatles, but it was written in 1957 by Meredith Wilson, for the stage version of "The Music man."

I don't speak English but listening the song i think the meaning is that wonderful roses were sent through fragant praders of dawn and dew, like in Spanish, habia hermosas rosas que me eran enviadas a través de fragantes praderas de amanecer y rocío
