sweep global market

These sentences are translated from a Chinese article on Electronic Commerce Times (2014/2/24). I consider that they are useful reference materials to enrich my topic report. Admittedly, they are so poorly written in Chinese Pidgin English that it fails to convey the intended meaning. I’m aware of my limitations in English writing, so I posted these threads on the forum, hoping to ask native speakers for help to correct the errors.

“It’s the 1st snow, how can there be no fried chicken & beer?” A classic line of the hit K-drama My Love from the Star caused a craze for “fried chicken and beer” in China. This line unexpectedly saved the Chinese poultry market which was the victim affected by H7N9. Since My Love from the Star aired so far, it has gained an enthusiastic response by the audience. It reflects high viewership ratings as well as hot sales of peripheral products in the drama.

Since Autumn in My Heart first aired in 2000, it has been considered a pioneer in Korean melodramatic series, launching a fever that is commonly referred to as the "Korean Wave". K-dramas in different periods repeatedly create high popularity and hot subjects. K-dramas are that influential! What magic power is it that K-dramas have swept global market for more than ten years?
