Swear by

I have come across this expression in my textbook and I have learned what it means.

What I am wondering is if it is very common.

If not, would anyone let me know more common expressions?

Thanks~~

It's often heard in the US, usually with respect to consumer products, for example: I tried that new ____ and now I swear by it (that is, use it all the time/exclusively).
