Can I use' sway' as follows?

When I broke up with him, I decided that I would never see him again. But after I found out that he really loved me, my mind was swayed.

The fact that I can be admitted to XX university with full schloarship swayed my mind to apply to YY university.

He is not handsome but his manners swayed my mind.
