It may seem funny, but I can not imagine where the girl is standing.
I turn toward the object of Tanya’s attention, dread pooling in my stomach at the thought of Tristan joining us in the hot tub. But it’s a tall, slim teenage girl with a long, poker-straight blonde ponytail standing in her school uniform on the swathe of pale ceramic patio that hems the back of the house. She shields her eyes with a hand to watch the boys darting around at the bottom of the garden.
