SWASHBUCKLING MOVIE

Dear Teachers,

1. What is your favorite kind of film? What is your favorite film?

- My favorite kind of film / my favorite film is martial arts.

- Are these natural?

2. Is "comedy" the same meaning as "funny movie"? and which one is more common?

3. "Swashbuckling movie" is used to refer to the kind of movie ( in China, Europe, America) which all the characters use swords to fight, right?

If I am americanized enough, I believe the "swashbuckler" type of movie is the kind with pirates, cannons, and sword fighting. Of course who is more famous in this kind of movies than Errol Flynn!
