SVO, Commas & Syntax

Hello,

In the following sentence I contend that the subject (I) states that he/she is a feminist. Further, at the end of the sentence, there is a misuse of a comma before the word "there" as well as an unnecessary word (there). Further, the word "so" at the beginning is also uneccessary. My friend disagrees. Who is correct?

"So, even as a feminist, I can DEFINITELY see her logic, there." Thank you for your kind attention.

Regards,
Mark

Re 'feminist': I agree that the speaker is presumed from the statement to be one. Re comma: Yes, incorrect; delete it. Re 'there': Not necessarily unnecessary; it is presumably deictic, pointing to some external context.

  • Re 'so': Again, not necessarily unnecessary; it is presumably a discourse link with earlier text.
