0Internet and telephone are the main ways to console and encourage us in this moment. The sky was very clear and the clouds had the color of pink sapphire. The peaceful strangeness of silence seemed to frighten us instead of embellishing the blue bright light neon from the two crystals palaces, the kindergarten, behind our house.02br 02br 00My brother's call from HCM city warned us to a possible danger of a super cyclone that would come in our district tonight. He told us it was very windy and a lot of trees were collapsed all the way he went back home.I searched the web about Meteorology. Every meteorological station had different weather forecast but they show the same situation of the cyclone. It's the first time the super cyclone has gone to this part of South Vietnam for a hundred years.Japan, Taiwan, Hong kong meterological station have forseed our district was in the cyclone's path.02br 02br 00Suspecting of these forecasts, I went on to search the other news about weather. A strange letter appeared, may be it belonged to an American meteorologist:".........It's very sad to say, it's a super cyclone. I can't say what damage, it will cause.Once, I overcame a cyclone with this same intensity.,it blew over my roof and my meteorological machine away from my office......". The letter reminded me of the story of Dorothy in her cave in the ground floor.02br 02br 00It's 10. PM. I felt regret to do not move to the Children Cultural House when a colleague from Thanh An Island came to me for a snap before going to HCMcity center. She didn't know why people stopped her to go to the small boat in the early morning because it reserved for the children and the old. After waiting for a couple of hours, she took a ferry-boat which was carried a hundred people at noon. She was very tired of this strange trip. All of her companions on this journey stayed at the Children Cultural House to keep safe from storm except her, she came back home to the city center.02br 02br 00In the brouhaha of fear, I tidied up our kitchen, put mattresses on the oven platform. Nothing has changed apart from the strangeness of speaceful pink sky. Tossing about sleeplessly all through the night because of worries, suddenly, I heard the strenghth of fitful gust of wind mixed with the clatter of falling crystals, resounded in the night. We hung the blankets over the window and the door to prevent the particles of broken glasses would hurt us. 02br 02br 00We felt safe under the oven platform. For more careful, I sacrified my new motorbike for an obstruct in front of our shelter. After hours to tolerate the violent gust of wind,I went out to check our damage. Everywhere around us looked like the disaster of a bombed area. Some parts of our roof blew off. We were safe but I always felt vomited. Two big columns and a lot of crushed tin roofs were stickly of the intertlacing electric wires on the fence in front of our house. We were survivors. However, some experienced people who lived in the middle region told us we were very lucky because our house didn't collapse. It's not sagacious to hide in a corner of a house. It would be heaped up in the ground by several sections.Remaining powerless in face of nature, there is no way out unless we pray to God.Utor will pass through our country. No one could know exactly where it track would be over........0-
