Vocabulary

Survive/outlive, etc.

Hi there!

There seems to be a lot of related words for 'remain alive after some trouble':
survive, outlive, weather, overbear (?), tolerate, make it through. I make lyrics for songs, so I have to choose the most suitable words both in terms of rhyme and sense. Which of them are most suitable in the phrases below?

1) My broken heart won't (survive / outlive / overbear / bear / make it through) the answers I have known - that is, I can't get over her after the breakup

2) And since you're sure enough you'll (outlive / weather) the strike - these two words are only suitable for the rhyme

Thank you in advance!
