The survey was sent to 168 stores and the total respondents were 127 (75.5%). From those respondents, 78% indicated that they are able to fully complete the Instore Food Safety Program; and 21% indicated that they perform some of the tasks involved. In a month, 61.7% of the stores stated they completed the program within 8-16 hours.

According to the results, when the program is not fully completed, the two tasks that are the least to be completed are Pest Control and Steritech Audits (Corrective actions).

For Pest Control, 43% of the Designates distribute Orkin’s report after every visit, 29% do not distribute it and 27% do it but not after every visit. And in regard to Budget meetings, 69% of designates provide notes to management about the program so it can be discussed; and 61% attend the meeting every month.
