Hello.
I am curious to know what the differences in the meaning between these examples are.
1) SURPRISED at/with/about/by
*I have found only that "surprised with" should be use with an object that has surprised us.
for ex: I'am surprised with this gift.
2) INTERESTED in/at/about
*I have found information that "interested in" should be use to express our hobby etc.
for ex: I'm interested in playing the guitar.
There are so many websites that explain this problem but each site explains this in different way and that makes me confused.
Thanks in advance ![]()
2) INTERESTED in/at/about I see no significant difference among the various prepositions and their collocations with those adjectives. No doubt one may be selected over the others as more likely in some contexts, but there are certainly no rules or consistently different nuances.
