Should I reword the underlined parts as "surfing the Internet" You can say a variety of things, including the two you mention. 'On' is optional. Capitals are optional, too. eg (internet/Internet, net/Net.)

and "good looks?" Yes. Say 'who had long hair and good looks' or 'who had long hair and was good looking'.

I would say "surfing the 'Net" or "surfing the net" or "surfing the Internet."

She had long hair and good looks. (I personally find "she had good looks" to sound odd, but it's not incorrect.)

She had long hair and was good looking. (Okay, but still not completely natural to my ears.)

She was good looking, with long hair. Or She was good looking and had long hair.

And you can "pretty" instead of "good looking."

She was pretty, with long hair (This would be my first choice.)
