SURER

Could one say the following?

1 Every 5 minutes that pass, I'm five percent surer that it wasn't my mom that knocked on the door as she's persistent.

I never heard the term " become surer " it seems quite odd to me Lets see what a native speaker would comment on this ... more sure, much sure or surer [:^)]

There's nothing wrong with 'become' surer.

However, because of the sound of 'surer', I would go with 'more certain'.
