Sure/For sure

Hi,

Well, I've got some difficulties figuring out which are the differences between the sentences below:

-He sure is going to win that match!

-He is going to win that match for sure!

-He is going to win that match. That's for sure!

I doubt there are many mistakes between all of these sentences but I couldn't help asking anyway. Emotion: big smile

Thanks. Emotion: smile

Thanks for answering but do you know whether there are any differences between each of them?

sure is / sure are / etc. is not idiomatic here - not to my ear anyway. This formulation is used in cases like the following, where you have an opinion (often negative) about someone's character.

He sure is stuck-up. He sure is lazy. They sure are ambitious.

He could say "He's sure to win that match!" to replace the first sentence.

Right?
