'sure enough' used in the future?

Hello.

I can see the phrase 'sure enough' is always used in the past. For example:
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/sure_enough
Rain had been predicted for that day and, sure enough, it was beginning to rain.

Can it be used in the future as well?

For example to emphasize that we strongly believe that some event will happen:
There are clouds coming and, sure enough, it will rain tomorrow.

Yes, it's possible, though I would say less usual.
