supposed to/ supposed to do

Hi!

I'd like to avoid the repetition of the word ‘‘do’’ in the sentence below.
My option is to end it with a preposition, however I've read that ending a sentence with a prepostion should be avoided, even though it's not wrong. In this case, is it possible to end the sentence with a prepostion or do I need to end it with the verb to do? Is there any other alternative to avoid the repetition?

Everytime I need to do to something, I get distracted and I don't do what I'm supposed to.

Thanks in advance!

Here to is an infinitival subordinator, not a preposition. khah I've read that ending a sentence with a prepostion should be avoided, Only in very formal writing.
