Vocabulary

Supposed to ([sə|poʊzd] or [sə|poʊt])

A: What are you looking for?

B: The public library. It is supposed to be right around the corner here.

1. The pronunciation of the -ed ending in B is /d/ as a result of the progressive assimilation.

I don't know why the explanation of #1 says the -ed ending of supposed is /d/.

I thought it should be /t/ or deleted because of the following t in to.

What do you think?

I think #1 is wrong. In my pronunciation, 'suppose to' liaises to form [s?|po?t?].
