supposed to OR should?

Hi,

What's meaning of 'supposed to'? I read somewhere that it is almost the same as 'should'. Is it right?

For eg= 'you aren't supposed to be here.' is the same as 'you shouldn't be here' ?

I don't know what exactly does this phrase (supposed to) mean Emotion: sad(

Thanks
