'supposed to figure' ????

I read this sentence in a book and was wondering if it was grammatically correct,

"Now what do you supposed to figure on that meaning?"

Common expressions are, "Now what do you suppose that means?" "How are you supposed to understand that meaning?"

No. It's not grammatically correct. Like Avangi, I'd reword the whole thing.
