Hi! What is the difference between the two sentences? I gather the first sentence can't be present continuous because the person isn't doing the action. Thanks, Fulvio

I'm not sure about the grammatical voice of that. Is it in the active voice, i.e., the verb "are" is a linking verb, or in the passive where "are" is the auxiliary verb? Could it be ambiguous?
