Context: telling my friend after watching the movie trailer.

The movie trailer is interesting. I suppose the movie will be good.

The movie trailer is interesting. I hope the movie will be good.

Please check them. Which one is suitable either suppose or hope?

suppose means you think the movie will be good. You are fairly sure.

When you hope, you don't know if the movie will be good or bad. You are wishing that you'll be lucky and the movie will be good.
