Vocabulary

"support" in pluralized form

Can I say "this product features more extensive technical supportS" (instead of the maybe more popular version "much more extensive technical support for")?
Thanks:)

Support, meaning phone calls to a help desk, is a non-count noun. Do not use the plural.

Support can be used as a count noun, but in a different context. You can see six supports for the bridge in this picture. The supports come in pairs. There are more supports outside the picture frame.

You can count the following things:

A phone call to the support team.
A session in which a product is discussed.

But the idea of "support" is very general. It is not countable in the context of technical support. It is like other non-count concrete things: salt, pepper, sugar, flour, bread, air, water.
