supermodel

Supermodel Naomi was sentenced to 200 hours of community service for assaulting two police officers after an argument with a plilot. She went beserk when the pilot told her that one of her bags couldn't make it on the plane because of the airport's chaotic new system. She ordered the pilot to get off the plane and searched for her bag. She was taken away but not before she threw her cellphone at a police officer on scene.

Are there any mistakes?
Thanks.

first "plilot" misspelled delete "that" "couldn't be accepted on the plane" The scenario is unclear. This must be a private plane, if the pilot is discussing baggage. Does this incident take place while she's boarding the plane?

The news didn't say whether it was a private jet or a commercial plane. But I heard first class mentioned. The problem was the airport had just opened the new terminal her flight was taking off from and the baggage system was having some problems causing her bags to be misplaced. To answer your question, I think it was back at the terminal.

Thank you, Yankee. I feel there's slight difference regarding your second to last suggestion 'after' in place of 'but not before'

I can't explain the difference. To me, but not before sounds more dramatic. What do you think?

Pardon me for butting in.

I agree with you N2G. The original version makes the point much more emphatic
