Sunday

Hello,

1. We will leave on Sunday.

2. We will leave on the next Sunday.

3. We will leave on next Sunday.

Between (2) and (3), which one is correct?

I would also like to know that when I should use 'the' in case of 'next month, 'next week' and should not.

Could any one suggests the rules?

Correct. Also: We will leave next Sunday.

If the point of reference is today: He will come next week.

If the point of reference is not today: He arrived before Christmas and left the next week.
