This is my summary:
Transportations have greatly evolved over time. For many centuries animals were largely adopted to transport people and goods. Since animals are very slow, the advent of the railroad first and of the car second has made possible to reach any destination much faster than ever before. Trains are efficient and can transport a great number of passengers and goods at once, but cars have eventually become the most popular vehicle because they do not need tracks and can access remote places.
Travelling by water is still a favorite way to ship large commercial loads, but its efficiency relays on good weather now as before.
Air transportation is the fastest way to get everywhere, still airplanes are not as used in less developed countries, where high costs are a problem.
