Vijay Kumar, a police kills Ashwin, son of minister Vanamaamalai. This incurs the wrath of the minister who vows to take revenge. The security of Vijay Kumar's family is at stake.
Long Summary
Vijay Kumar, a police takes up a case involving the rape of Raji. The rapist is Ashwin, the son of a minister Vanamaamalai, Vijay kills Ashwin and reveals himself to Vanamaamalai, who swears to take revenge. Meanwhile, Vijay falls in love with Mithra and they get married. Vijay's happiness is short-lived though when his wife and mother is killed. He made a promise to Mithra that he will quit the police force. Vijay fakes his death, and moves to Kerala with Nivi. How will they live their life?
