Not 'chewing'. 'Chewable' sounds right to me.

Hi student,
For all vitamin tablets the appropriate word is Chewable tablet. However, there is another word which is called Lozenges which is used for throat infections and is also a chewable tablet.

Interesting. In AmE, a lozenge is not chewed; it is sucked on or allowed to dissolve slowly:

a small usually sweetened solid piece of medicated material of any of various shapes that is designed to be held in the mouth for slow dissolution and often contains a demulcent throat<>lozenge s > called also pastille or troche.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. I furnished another word "lozenges" in order not to get confused. As far as chewing or sucking or allowing it to dissolve is concerned, the option is left to the discretion of the patient whether to suck/chew/allow to dissolve a vitamin tablet or a lozenges.
