Suggestions to improve

Can you please provide suggestions to improve the following passage.


"Kudos to Indian Postal Department. For the past 150 years it is has done lot of miracles in our country. Delivering letters to the remote villages at right is its unique style. As a citizen of India some how we are enjoying its esteem service in our daily life. After the invention of email, its service has slightly slumped and got the name snail-mail. It seems, it is taking rest after a marathon race, but it is mandatory to promote its service by come up with new flavours."

i m confused by one statement here. Is it appropriate to say "it is has......."; I think its the second line. I havent come across with this type of sentence.
