Suggest I leave now?

Hi

Which would sound better in a normal conversation?

Do you suggest that I leave now?

Are you suggesting that I should leave now?

Thanks!

"Do you suggest" and "Are you suggesting" have slightly different nuances, so the best choice is likely to be context-dependent. "Do you suggest" is more likely to be asking for a new opinion, while "Are you suggesting" is more likely to be asking for confirmation of something already implied or hinted at. In normal conversation I would most likely insert "should" (in both versions).
